Feeling hungry or peckish during your travels around the Hunter Valley? Why not kill two birds with one stone (obviously not literally lol). Some of the vineyards have either a restaurant or a cafe on the premises, so why not indulge.
Villa du Pays menus are thoughtfully prepared by our Executive Chef using only the finest ingredients, elegantly presented and served in fine dining style by our friendly and professional staff. Take advantage of the stunning views with an alfresco lunch or enjoy an intimate evening in our sophisticated dining room. A great place to enjoy a meal with friends or a romantic dinner for two.
Robert and Sally are proud proprietors of Bistro Molines at Tallavera Grove. This French Bistro is set in the gorgeous surrounds of our picturesque Tallavera Grove property in Mount View. Robert has returned to his roots and offers a large, ever-changing menu of French Provincial cuisine inspired by the freshest local produce. The open set dining room is lovingly decorated by Sally with fresh flowers, colourful fruit and antique pictures and ornaments. However, the place to dine is on the verandah overlooking the Mount View valley and vineyards or in the wisteria covered courtyard- heaven on earth!
Originally named Blaxland’s Barn and erected in 1976 by Christopher Barnes AM. Blaxland’s was built using sandstone bricks from the original Blaxland’s homestead in Broke. Some of the bricks with the convict prints are still visible inside the building. Blaxland’s was one of the first few restaurants in the Pokolbin area and has been trading continuously since that date.
Located within the beautiful sandstone walls of Peterson House, at the “Gateway” to the Hunter Valley Vineyards, Restaurant Cuvee features beautiful exposed aged timber beams and iron work throughout and commands a prominent position with spectacular views overlooking the beautiful vineyards.
While absorbing the views from our picturesque venue, allow the time to enjoy a glass of bubbles with an oyster platter or a selection of local cheeses at our ever popular Oyster Bar
Margan Restaurant is now in it’s tenth year and as the pioneers of agri-dining in the Hunter Valley we are committed more than ever to our ‘estate grown, estate made’ ethos. We base our menus around what we harvest from our one acre kitchen garden and orchard to maintain a truly seasonal focus. In addition we have our own olive trees, free range chickens, honey and raise our own lambs. A selection of our estate grown produce is incorporated into this menu.
